Off On Another Adventure

Well, it turned out that it wasn't the real Verka Serduchka singing at the restaurant last week. It was a local imitator. In some ways I find it more impressive that a Tajik man is able to pull that off here. And the bottom line is that it was still a great night.

Stephanie and I are very excited that we are now officially on vacation and will be visiting Kazakhstan, Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos over the next two weeks. That is, of course, if the snow that started falling last night doesn't get in the way. It figures that after 8 months, with nary a drop of water from the sky, it decides to snow right before we take off.

Any way, wish us luck and look for some good stories and pictures in a couple of weeks when we get back!
